New Dynomax Exhaust System for 2008-2010 Ford SuperDuty
New Product: DynoMax Exhaust System for 2008+ Ford Super Duty
Diesel pickup trucks can benefit a lot from exhaust systems. Part of the reason is that big diesel pickups rely upon turbochargers, and turbochargers spool up quicker when they’re attached to a low-restriction exhaust system.
Another reason that diesels benefit so much from exhaust system upgrades is that they make a lot of exhaust – especially when they’re tuned up with a computer chip or a Banks PowerPack. If you own a 2008-2010 Ford SuperDuty F250 or F350 with a diesel, you want to look into a new exhaust system.
But what if you own a Super Duty with a 5.4L V8 or 6.8L V10? Since so many of Ford’s 5.4L and 6.8L F250’s and F350’s were sold to commercial fleets, there aren’t as many cool accessories available for these trucks…which is too bad. A 2010 F250 with a 6.8L V10 pours out 362 horsepower and 457 lb-ft of torque. That’s a lot of torque for a gas engine, and most of it’s available below 2000 RPM.
Fortunately, DynoMax now offers an upgraded exhaust system for all you 2008-2010 Super Duty truck owners with gas motors. According to DynoMax, their system adds another 16 horsepower and 13 lb-ft of torque…but they don’t share if those numbers apply to the 5.4 or the 6.8, and they don’t have dyno graphs we can check out.
Still, at least there’s an option available.
